Mutual aid to Wayne County

While working a structure fire on State Rt 21 this morning, the Palmyra Fire Department requested mutual aid from the Port Gibson Fire Department. Additional Ontario County Departments activated were Manchester FD, County air Truck 35, Farmington FD, Shortsville ambulance, Clifton Springs FD, and Victor FD. Command reported the fire under control in just over an hour.
The Red cross was called to assist the 2 residents of the structure, and the casue of the fire is under investigation.
