Kitchen Fire – Phelps

The Phelps and Oaks Corners (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this afternoon to Stapelli’s Pizza on Main Street in the Village of Phelps for a reported fire near the stove.
Command went on location with nothing showing, and held Oaks Corners in quarters. Upon further investigation, a small fire was discovered in the duct work that was quickly extinguished. Crews checked for extension and ventilated the building before returning to quarters.
