Benefit / Fundraiser – Farmington FD

There will be a benefit/ fundraiser for Derek VanWyk and his family at Mickey Finns, 14 Railroad Ave in Victor on Thursday April 16, 2009 at 5PM. VanWyk, 36, was diagnosed with ALS; otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, in 2005. There is no treatment or cure and it is usually fatal within 3-5 years.
Derek is the Son-in-Law of past chief Paul McManus of Farmington Fire Department.
