MVA with Entrapment – Oaks Corners

The Oaks Corners Fire Department and Phelps Ambulance were dispatched this evening to Thompson Station road for a report of a vehicle on it’s top in the roadway.
Command reported 1 unconscious patient trapped in an overturned vehicle, and requested Mercy Flight to respond to the Thruway exit 42. 1 male patient was extricated in approximately 30 minutes, and was transported via Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital in Rochester. Northside Fire Department was requested to standby in their quarters for Oaks Corners while they were on the call.
