Structure Fire – Northside

The Northside Fire Department was dispatched this evening to a report of a possible structure fire on Carter Road. Further updates from dispatch reported that there was a bus on fire near a building with a report of someone in the bus.
Command went on location and reported a working structure fire with 2 exposures, and requested mutual aid from the Oaks Corners and Geneva Fire Departments. Command further requested the White Springs Fire Department to standby in their quarters. Oaks Corners requested the Phelps Fire Department to standby in their quarters as well.
The fire was called under control in approximately 40 minutes.
