MVA with entrapment – Phelps

The Phelps Fire Department responded this morning to the NYS Thruway for a reported motor vehicle accident with a car reported to be into a guardrail and smoking. Further updates reported serious injuries.
Units arrived on scene and reported 1 patient still in the vehile. The Manchester FD was requested to set up a landing zone for Mercy Flight at exit 43, and 1 patient was transported to that location for transport to Strong Hospital in Rochester.
