Structure Fire – Bloomfield

The Bloomfield Fire Department was dispatched this evening to a report of a fire in the back of an apartment at the Holcomb Village Townhouses on Elm Street in the Village.
Command reported a working fire with smoke showing from the back of the building. Mutual aid was requested from the Bristol Fire Department with a full response.
The fire was under control in approximately 20 minutes, and The American Red Cross was requested to assist the four occupants of the apartment. The cause is under investigation.
