Fatal Structure Fire – Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched this morning to a reported structure fire on West Ave in the City. Dispatch also reported multiple calls as well. While enroute, the VA was requested to respond mutual aid to the scene.
First arriving apparatus reported a working garage fire. Further reports from the scene reported that the garage was converted into an apartment and 1 victim was located within the structure. The Crystal Beach and Hopewell Fire Departments provided fill-in coverage.
