Structure Fire – Farmington

The Farmington Fire Department was dispatched this evening to County Road # 8 for a reported fire at Farmington Service Towing Service.  This activated their box 300 which dispatched the Victor Fire Department as well.

Command went on location and reported a fully involved structure, and requested mutual aid from the Manchester, Shortsville, and the VA Medical Center Fire Departments.    Additional 3rd alarm mutual aid requests went out for East Bloomfield and Macedon to the scene.

The fire was called under control in approximately 1.5 hours, and the cause is under investigation.  No injuries were reported.

The following departments provided stand-by coverage at empty stations : Hopewell, Clifton Springs, Port Gibson, Fishers, Egypt  and Palmyra.

While at this call, mutual aid fill-in departments responded to a second fire in Farmington’s District; a furnace fire in the structure.  That fire was contained to the furnace with no damage to the structure.
