Structure Fire – Clifton Springs

The Clifton Springs Fire Department was dispatched this evening to Pleasant Street for a reported electrical fire in the upstairs bedroom.
Command went on location reported smoke and flames showing from the second floor of a 2 story house. Mutual aid was requested from Phelps for an Engine, Rescue and manpower. Additional mutual aid was requested from Port Gibson for additional manpower to the scene. Manchester, Palmyra and Oaks Corners provided fill-in coverage. The Fire was called under control in just over 30 minutes, and the Red Cross was requested to respond to the scene.
