Structure Fire – Phelps

The Phelps and Oaks Corners (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this afternoon to Ridely Road for a reported fire on the second floor of a structure. While en route, dispatch reported receiving another call reporting a fire in the basement.
Command went on location and reported a working basement fire. Mutual aid was requested from Marbletown for a tanker and Lyons for a ladder. Clifton Springs provided stand-by coverage for the Phelps Fire Department.
The fire was under control in approximately 15 minutes.
