Water Problem – Victor
Posted on February 13th, 2008 by admin
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched this morning for an unknown type of alarm on Rawson Rd across from the Drumlins in the Village of Victor. On their arrival they found a water gong activated with water flowing from a vacant industrial building, and requested the fire department. Victor Fire arrived to find over a foot of water behind the closed doors. Crews forced entry into the building and found three broken sprinklers pipes in the second floor office area. All exterior doors were opened and the water was allowed to drain out of the building. It was determined by the Village Water Department that approximately 185,000 gallons of water had flowed into the building due to the breaks.
