Heavy Storms hit Ontario County

At Approximately 4 PM this afternoon, heavy thunderstorms hit Ontario County. Numerous departments were dispatched for storm-related calls such as wires arching, trees down, and automatic alarms.
There were several structure fires within the county; Hopewell and Seneca Castle (automatic mutual aid) were dispatched to a barn fire on Spangle Street. Command reported a working fire, with an exposure problem. Mutual tankers from Stanley and Gorham responded.
Almost simultaneously, the Manchester Fire Department was dispatched to the corner of County Rd # 28 and Rt 96 for a reported structure fire. Command reported a working fire and requested mutual aid from several departments.
