Truck Fire – Geneva

The Geneva Fire Department was dispatched this morning to a report of a truck fire at Appleton Disposal on Doran Ave. City Engine 1113 went on location with a garbage truck loaded with recycled cardboard on fire.
Firefighters made a quick knock down and then were on scene for about 1 hour doing overhaul. Rescue 1171 was special called for air paks and the cascade to refill air bottles. There were no injuries.
