Reported Barn Fire – Farmington

The Farmington Fire Department was dispatched this afternoon to Fox road for a reported barn fire, with the farmer attempting to remove animals from the barn. This activated their box 200, with automatic mutual aid started from the Manchester and Port Gibson Fire Departments.
Further calls updated the call to report a skid loader on fire inside the barn. Command went on location reporting black smoke from the rear of large farm complex. Command further reported that the skid loader was near the entrance of the barn, and requested the first arriving engine hit a hydrant across the road from the address.
The Fire was quickly knocked down with no damage to the structure.
