The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched to the Meridian Automotive Building on North Street for a reported fire in the structure. Further updates from dispatch reported maintenance on scene with heavy smoke in the building and the sprinkler system activated. Command reported a fire from a broken hydraulic hose line, with units stretching a line. [...]

The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched this afternoon to 80 South Main Street for a report of like smoke in the store from a fire in a light fixture, possibly out. The District Chief went on location reporting nothing showing, then further updated reporting smoke in the structure. The situation was quickly called under control. [...]
