Structure Fire – Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched this afternoon to South Main Street in the City for a reported outside fire that is extending to a structure.

Command went on location with a second floor porch on fire with smoke showing. Mutual aid was requested from the VA Medical Center and Crystal Beach Fire Departments. The fire was quickly controlled, and the cause is under investigation. Shortsville and Rushville Fire Departments provided fill-in coverage for responding departments.

Barn Fire – Phelps

The Phelps Fire Department was dispatched this morning to Marbletown road for a reported Barn and camper on fire.

Command went on location with a working fire and requested additional mutual aid from Marbletown, Oaks Corners and Clifton Springs. The fire was called under control in approximately 30 minutes and no injuries were reported.

Training Drill – Hopewell

The Hopewell Fire Department recently hosted a training drill at the new Student center at FLCC this week. The Canandaigua and Crystal Beach Fire Departments assisted on scene as well.

Structure Fire – Phelps

The Phelps and Marbletown (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to Rockefeller Road for a report of a possible structure fire, smoke coming from a house.

Command went on location and reported a working fire. Mutual aid was requested from Oaks Corners and Clifton Springs to respond to the scene. Additional tankers from Seneca Castle and Port Gibson were requested. The fire was called under control in approximately 25 minutes and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Barn Fire – Clifton Springs

The Clifton Springs Fire Department was dispatched this morning to Silver Street for a reported barn fire.

County Car 97 went on location reporting a fully involved barn fire with several exposures. Command requested mutual aid from Phelps and Manchester for full responses. Additional mutual aid was requested from Port Gibson, Seneca Castle Oaks Corners and Northside, Farmington, Stanley and Marbletown for tankers. Oaks Corners, Hopewell, Shortsville, Newark and Border City provided fill in or standby coverage.

Structure Fire – Hall

The Hall Fire Department was dispatched this morning to County Road # 29 for a reported chimney fire with people exiting the structure.

Command went on location and reported a working fire. Mutual aid was requested from Stanley, Gorham, Benton and Bellona Fire Departments to respond to the scene.

Additional mutual aid was requested from West Lake Road (Fast Team), Rushville, White Springs, and Geneva for fill-in coverage. The Fire was called under control in approximately 1 hour, and no injuries were reported.

The Phelps Fire Department was dispatched this evening State Rt 488 for a reported stove fire. Further updates from dispatch reported a fire in the kitchen.

Command went on location with smoke showing from the rear of a 2 story structure, and reported a working fire. Mutual aid was requested from Clifton Springs for 1 engine, and Oaks Corners to stand-by on their floor. The fire was quickly called under control, and the Red Cross was requested to respond to assist the residents. No injuries were reported.

Structure Fire – Bristol

The Bristol and Cheshire (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to Kear Road for a reported fire in an attached garage.

Command went on location reporting a working fire and additional Mutual aid was requested from the Honeoye Fire Department for a full response. The East and West Bloomfield Fire departments provided fill-in coverage. The fire was called under control in just over 30 minutes, and units remained on scene to checking for extension for awhile. The cause of the investigation is under investigation, and no injuries were reported.

The Hopewell Fire Department was dispatched this afternoon to County Road # 4 for a reported barn fire. While en route, command request mutual aid from the Seneca Castle and Shortsville Fire Departments.

Command went on location reporting a fully involved barn. The fire was called under control in approximately 30 minutes. 1 person suffered minor burns, but refused medical treatment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Barn Fire – Bristol

The Bristol and Cheshire (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this afternoon to State Rt 64 for a reported barn fire.

While enroute, command requested mutual aid tankers from East Bloomfield and Honeoye. Units went on location with a fully involved barn fire. Additional mutual aid was also requested from West Bloomfield, and the Victor FD provided fill-in coverage for East Bloomfield.
