Firehouse.com news firefighter LODDsThe Hopewell Fire Dept and Canandaigua ambulance responded this afternoon to a reported plane crash in the area of Algerine St. and County Rd #4. Upon investigation, command reported that the plane was a crop duster and there was no crash.

The Canandaigua Fire Dept. responded to the Ontario ARC residence on Risser Road this afternoon for an automatic alarm. Upon investigation, command reported smoke in the structure and requested the VA Medical Center FD to standby in their quarters for Canandaigua.

The Cheshire Fire Dept and Canandaigua ambulance responded this afternoon to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of County Rd # 16 and Seneca Point road with a report of people trapped. Law enforcement arriving on scene reported no entrapment. Command requested a second ambulance to respond.
