MVA with Entrapment - Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Fire Department responded this evening to Lakeshore Drive for an MVA with entrapment.  Command reported a vehicle into a pole 1 patient trapped.  The extrication took approximately 30 minutes.  The VA Medical Center Fire Department was placed on standby for Canandaigua.  The accident occurred as the result of a police chase.  MPNNews story

MVA with Entrapment - Geneva

The Geneva Fire Department was dispatched this morning to a motor vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and tractor trailer.  Once on scene, the Hurst tool was utilized to extricate the operator of the pickup truck. Patient was transported by Finger Lakes Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital with minor injuries.
