Structure Fire – Victor

The Victor and Farmington (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to Latchmere Drive in the the Village of Victor for a reported chimney fire. Command went on scene and reported possible extension into the wall.  The fire was quickly contained with minor damage.

Standby for Police Investigation – Geneva

The Geneva Fire Department was dispatched this evening to assist the Geneva police department for a suspicious package in a residence on Madison Street in the City. Haz-Mat Incident – Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched this morning to 770 South Main Street for a fluid spill in the road.  Command reported approximately 50 gallons of hydraulic fluid spread along several streets.  The DEC was notified and responded.  Once on scene, Canandaigua command turned incident over to DEC.

New Ladder Truck for Clifton Springs ?

The 44 year old female injured last week after being struck by a vehicle in the City of Canandaigua passed way Sunday night at Strong Memorial Hospital.  10NBC news report

Reported Structure fire – Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Fire Department was dispatched this evening to Andrews Road for a report of an electrical fire in the kitchen.  An Ontario County Sheriff’s deputy arriving before the apparatus reported a smoke condition with no visible fire.  Command reported the situation under control approximately 15 minutes into the incident.
