Structure Fire - Clifton Springs

The Clifton Springs and Port Gibson (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched to County Road # 25 this afternoon for a reported structure fire.  Command went on scene with nothing showing, the reported a possible fire in the wall behind the stove.  Phelps Fire Department was requested to respond to the scene as well.  [...]

New Fire Chief Named - Canandaigua

A Steuben County man has been named the next Fire Chief for the City of Canandaigua Fire Department. 35 year old Matthew Snyder of Painted Post, NY will assume his position on Jan. 4, 2008 starting at a salary of $70,000. MPNNews Article
