Tuesday, January 29th, 2008The Hopewell Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad were dispatched this evening to State Route # 488 for a 1 vehicle MVA. Command reported 1 vehicle into a tree with heavy damage, 2 patients with no entrapment . Two ambulances were requested from Canandaigua, and both patients were transported.

Train Derailment - Geneva
Sunday, January 27th, 2008The Geneva Fire Department was dispatched this evening to a reported train derailment near Lake St in the city. Chief 11-0 went on location confirming 5 train cars had derailed. There were no cars tipped over and there was no hazardous materials leaked. The derailment was east of the Geneva Police Dept.

Thursday, January 24th, 2008The Manchester Fire Department and Shortsville Ambulance were dispatched this morning to a 2 vehicle MVA on State Rt 96 near the entrance to Friendly Village. Command reported 1 occupant trapped. Extrication was quickly completed with 1 patient being transported to the hospital.
