The Hopewell Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad were dispatched this evening to State Route # 488 for a 1 vehicle MVA. Command reported 1 vehicle into a tree with heavy damage, 2 patients with no entrapment . Two ambulances were requested from Canandaigua, and both patients were transported.

The Geneva Fire Department was dispatched this evening to a reported train derailment near Lake St in the city. Chief 11-0 went on location confirming 5 train cars had derailed. There were no cars tipped over and there was no hazardous materials leaked. The derailment was east of the Geneva Police Dept.
