Early this morning the  Bristol Fire and Cheshire (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported  basement fire at 6440 Fisher Hill Rd. New Delivery - Richmond

The Richmond Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a new ASV Scout tracked vehicle. It is equipped with 11 hp pump, hose reel, portable foam unit and carries 170 gals. of water.  It will be used for rescues, woods and brush fires.  Photos

Fire house goes back to the drawing board - East Bloomfield

The East Bloomfield-Holcomb Fire District commissioners voted 3 to 2 Monday night to rescind a 2007 design for a new fire hall addition.  The five-member board then voted unanimously to establish a committee to come up with a new plan and discussed temporary repairs to the existing hall. MVA - Phelps

The Phelps Fire Department and Phelps Ambulance were dispatched this afternoon for a reported MVA at the intersection of State Route 88 & Rockefeller Rd. Command reported a single vehicle MVA over an embankment with no entrapment. One patient was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Photos

MVA with Entrapment - West Lake Road

The West Lake Road Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance were dispatched this afternoon to Kashong Road for a two car MVA with entrapment.  Command arrived on scene reported 1 patient trapped and immediately requested Mercy Flight.  One patient was extricated in 15 minutes and flown to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.  Photos
