Thursday, August 28th, 2008The Oaks Corners FD will hosting a Lifeguard Systems, “Swift Water Rescue Level I” training course. This course exceeds NFPA Water Rescue Standards. The schedule is as follows:
Friday (10/17/08) - 1800 / 2200 hours
Saturday (10/18/08) - 0800 / 1830 hours
Sunday (10/19/08) - 0800 / 1700 hours
Cost: $ 195.00 per student

MVA with entrapment - Hopewell
Wednesday, August 13th, 2008The Hopewell Fire Department and Canandaigua ambulance were dispatched this evening to the intersection of Smith Road and County Road 46 for a reported 2 car MVA.
Command reported 2 cars involved, with 1 patient still in a vehicle. The patient was extricated within 10 minutes, and transported to Thompson Hospital with minor injuries.
