Training Announcement

The Oaks Corners FD will hosting a Lifeguard Systems, “Swift Water Rescue Level I” training course.  This course exceeds NFPA Water Rescue Standards.  The schedule is as follows:
Friday (10/17/08) - 1800 / 2200 hours
Saturday (10/18/08) - 0800 / 1830 hours
Sunday (10/19/08) - 0800 / 1700 hours
Cost: $ 195.00 per student

MVA with multiple Injuries - Crystal Beach

The Crystal Beach Fire Department responded to the Intersection of County Rd # 18 and Middle Roads Friday night for a 1 car MVA with multiple injuries.  1 patient was transported via Mercy Flight.

Structure Fire - Clifton Springs

The Clifton Springs Fire Department was dispatched this evening to Bankert Road for a reported garage fire.  Law enforcement went on scene shortly following dispatch, and reported a “fully involved” garage.

MVA with entrapment - Hopewell

The Hopewell Fire Department and Canandaigua ambulance were dispatched this evening to the intersection of Smith Road and County Road 46 for  a reported 2 car MVA.
Command reported 2 cars involved, with 1 patient still in a vehicle.  The patient was extricated within 10 minutes, and transported to Thompson Hospital with minor injuries.

Car Fire - Stanley
