Mutual Aid Wayne County for 2 House Fires - Port Gibson

The Port Gibson Fire Dept was dispatched Saturday night to assist the Palmyra FD with a furnace fire on Hyde Parkway in Palmyra. The fires in furnace area and inside the walls were quickly extinguished, but there was heavy smoke damage to the building.

Structure Fire - Clifton Springs

The Clifton Spings Fire Department was dispatched to 2190 State Rt. 96 for a reported fire in the upstairs bathroom. 
Command reported a working fire on the second floor, and requested mutual aid from Port Gibson FD to fill-in Clifton’s station.  The Fire was under control in just under 30 minutes.
