While working a structure fire on State Rt 21 this morning, the Palmyra Fire Department requested mutual aid from the  Port Gibson Fire Department.  Additional Ontario County Departments activated

Structure Fire – West Bloomfiled

The West Bloomfield and Ionia (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments and Finger Lakes Ambulance were dispatched late tonight to Road for a reported Shed fire on JoDell Lane. While enroute, command requested mutual aid

Chimney Fire – Hopewell

The Hopewell and Shortsville (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to Freshour Road for a reported chimney fire.  Command went on scene and reported heavy smoke from a masonary chimney.  The Shortsville FD was held in quarters due to limited manpower.

Fatal MVA – East Bloomfield

The East Bloomfield Fire and Ambulance, along with Finger Lakes Ambulance were dispatched this afternoon to State Rt. 444 for a reported 2 vehicle head-on MVA with 3 patients, 2 reported to be seriously injured.
Command reported a 2 vehicle accident blocking with 3 patients, and requested 1 additional ambulance to respond to the scene.

Fatal Accident involving Firefighter – St. Lawrence County

An elderly Akwesasne woman was killed Tuesday evening when her car was hit by a volunteer firefighter responding to a water emergency. 

Structure Fire – Port Gibson

The Port Gibson and Clifton Springs (automatic mutual aid) Fire Departments were dispatched this evening to the VFW on Route 31 for a report of a fire alarm activation.  While enroute, dispatch updated with reports of flames showing from the front of the building.
Command went on scene

Reported Structure Fire – Clifton Springs

The Clifton Springs Fire Department was dispatched this morning to East Main Street in the Village for a reported structure fire.  While enroute command requested a full response from the Phelps Fire Department and a FAST team from Port Gibson.
